Naturally they are being hunted, and after getting the layout of the jungle byways from Mervar, a Tahjay-Raht, I found his brother and the Pahmar leader in their camp, under siege by a Thalmor warband and their massive ape-like creature that I later learned was an Imga! Luck thing Linjii was there to lend a paw.ĭeepclaw (yes, there are a lot of new names here, but I am making many new friends), the leader of the Pahmar guard, finally told me that word had reached them of my exploits in Skyrim, having been passed along among other caravans - hence, why they sought me out to fight the Thalmor, and why Ku’rana and Varina were so eager to have me join them.

She explained that much of my arrangements had been made by Ameir, the Khajiit in charge of a sugar smuggling operation I then met her after finding a small wharf of sorts upriver, where the secret waterways allow her and her fellows to move goods around away from the Thalmor’s prying eyes. She is rather cute, but seems a bit dreamy, like a kitten… and besides, this one is spoken for (Linjii must always keep that in mind). And I cannot complain too much, as this hideout is quite impressive and occupied by Pahmar who say they will protect me.Ĭurious just how much they knew, I tracked down the only other Suthay-Raht I could find that morning, called Yura. I admit, though I did want to carry onward with them, I know a sneaky look from a fellow cat when I see one: they know my reputation, and thought I would be an asset to their friends in the Thalmor resistance. When I asked why, they simply explained that the local Pahmar were waiting for me. Ku'rana said we were nearing our destination - though really, he should have said “Linjii’s destination,” because the two of them chose to drop me off at a hideout in an ancient river basin and carry on down the road, headed to Torval. Still, there were a few tight spots, especially when the river became deep and I was forced to use the rocks. Massive poisinous spiders and a pack of Zahilisk menaced me along the river, though I am glad my spells were able to allow me to fend of and move quietly. I must remember that the jungle is so much different than the tundra of Skyrim. We had reached the edge of the Tenmar Forest, and were halted by a collapsed bridge over a waterway - “This far south,” Varina tells me, “the roads are in a serious state of neglect, thanks to the Thalmor.” I offered to see if I could find another way around, using the shallower parts of the waterway to plot a course around. I awoke early this morning to Ku'rana and Varina asking me for help.

It’s as if these last two days have been set to make up for the relative weeks of nothingness through Cyrodiil! So much has happened, and I will try to put it down in the order in which it all occurred.
